🎂 My birthday & d.i.a haul 🎂

It's been a while since last time XD but today I'm a bit more free so I'm finally posting about my birthday!

My birthday was on 10th of August! This year I turned 35 omg ^^" 
To celebrate, me and Simo booked a b&b in Bari and went out for dinner with Seshi and Nericchi! Sadly Nicole was already in Japan and Machi was sick so they couldn't attend :( but I still had so much fun XD

We arrived in Bari after lunchtime, and we went straight to the b&b, called "Dora" :D I forgot to take any pics cuz I'm stupid but it was a nice and cozy apartment, kinda small but with a huuuuge terrace! You could see the whole city from there :O and it had a cafè under it, the owner was a friend of the b&b host so he offered us cold coffee for free XD with almond syrup, so good :P

 

 The only pic I have of my birthday co*de (apart from the mirror ones you'll see in a while w) cuz I'm STUPIDDDD and I keep forgetting to take oneeee

My dress was my fav from Glamorous Jane <3 acce are offbrand (I still had to put on my nails lol)

We went to Yumi Izakaya for dinner :D I wanted SO MUCH to try it!! Absolutely perfect, it's my fav restaurant now!!

I had their special gin tonic with shiso gin :O it tasted a bit bitter? But still reaaaaally good :D

After dinner I dunno what happened (maybe greasy hands? XD) but my fake nails started falling -_- I did the double sticker tecnique (you know, the one where you put adhesive sticker both on your real nails and press on nails) but I used the Shein stickers 8D Guess there's my review of them: they suck lolol

Anyway I took them off and went to Piazza Ferrarese to get drinks and watch the view

We were drunk and also found other people (Seshi's friends) and the night became messy but I had so much fun XD Simo made new friends lololol

Thank you so much for making this birthday so special <3 I thought I wasn't gonna celebrate at some point (I was "depressed" again, I have those periods) but they helped me organize this thing last minute (that's also why I couldn't invite a lot of my friends this time...)

The day after (11th of August) me and Simo left the b&b and went to the beach at Polignano a Mare! It's a small city on the seaside, its beaches are like super famous in my country cuz they're some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy

We wanted to go at the beach in the first picture but it was so full x_x we walked for a while and found another beach with less people:

We decided to go there and... then I understood why there was less people XD You can't really tell from the pics (I surely couldn't tell from afar lol) but it was on a f*cking reef XD rocks so big and sharp you had to HIKE to get to the sea www that's why I don't have any pics on the beach, I needed both hands to hike and I was so scared that if I pulled out my phone, I would get distracted and fall www

But the water was incredible ;_; so crystal clear, cold XD and full of fish! I loved the small "pool" before reaching the sea <3

After the beach we went to a small bistrot in front of it called Calapà

I LOVED IT XD The dj was playing only early 2000's stuff wwww me and Simo made a game out of the playlist ww the one who would recognize most songs would win and the loser had to pay the drinks XD (I lost w)

We got drinks, pizza and puccia (a kind of bread from Lecce ;; I miss that city)

After the first round of gin tonics the owner of the bistrot came to our table and proposed to us a new gin at a special price... ofc we said yes XD and he gave us this purple gin :O and after pouring tonic...

...It became pinkish :D so pretty! And tasty w I was pretty drunk after it w
He also gave us snacks for free :D I wanna come back ;; (I probably will next week w)
After that I was drunk so I asked to go for a walk XD and we went sightseeing

Domenico Modugno statue! Do you know the italian song "Volare (Nel Blu Dipinto di Blu)"? He's the singer and he was born in Polignano :D the whole town celebrates him

The main streets were decorated with lights in the shape of the song lyrics! So beautiful ;;

We came back so late (my fault, I've misread the train timetables w), we were supposed to go to a club once we came back but we were so tired we decided to chill on my terrace with some more cocktails w
I just wanted to sleep like this kitten XD

Once back home, Simo asked me for some "privacy" in his room (he was sleeping at my place for a week) and I was "oh, ok, see ya later" and waited for him on the terrace, but for so long that I finished my drink, so I went downstairs to get another one and while I was pouring it Simo appeared behind me whispering "Are u free now?" scaring the sh*t out of me www
He asked me to wait outside his room, count until ten then enter
I did it
And I found him like this

I was laughing so hard XDDDD He filled the room with balloons and prepared a last minute gift (looks like the real one is still on his way), he even had a carnival trumpet XD I was in tears
Best surprise ever XD I love him so much, he's really my brother and part of my heart <3
Thank you so much bro, you're the best man I ever met in my life and I'm so grateful I can call you my best friend <3 you're simply amazing, I can't fucking believe you did all of this for me!

I didn't know where to put them XD
I'm waiting for them to deflate so I can put them away as a memory, I don't wanna forget this birthday I swear to God

But it looks so cute XD a bathtube filled with balloons XD I liked it so much I decided to do a small photoshoot with them XD

From Seshi and Nericchi I got a Magic Mixies XDDD I love this stuff www it's so fun!! We played with it at the izakaya w and inside I found a tiny bat (that I kept calling pig to annoy Nericchi wwww "thank you girls, he's a really cute pig" "HE'S NOT A PIIIIG" XDDDD)

They also gave me this cute casting kit for resin! It's a kit to make a rose shaped jewelry tin *A* I love it!! I can't wait to try it +_+

Then I got the most special gift from Simo...

I couldn't buy a lot cuz almost everything was super expensive w

First item: a tube top :D actually it's coral pink but it looks red in pics dunno why XD even on the d.i.a site www
It wasn't on my wishlist but it was 50% off or something so it was super cheap (I think around 15/20€?)

Second top: the tshirt one I had in my wishlist XD in the end I decided for pink cuz it matches more stuff
But it's so pretty I'm thinking about getting it in blue too XD

in zebra print it's AMAZING but it looks similar to my Galeo zebra top so now I kinda regret I didn't buy it in leo ^^" anyway I love it

I love everything SO MUCH
The quality still feels the same, everything is cotton except for the zebra top (and the belt obvs w)
I really recommend to give d.i.a new stuff a chance, I hope they'll keep this game up if they sell enough (I'll try to make another order for xmas, I wanna support them XD)
Also rn the exchange yen-euro is really convenient, 100 yen is like 0,58€ so the belts (for example) cost less than 60€, which is WAY cheaper than the usual second hand prices
So, if you like d.i.a give it a try ^^

International Street Food Fair & Some Shopping

I'm still sick :/ so annoying
This month's been hard XD but at least it's gonna be over this weekend when my vacation will FINALLY start (and it's also my birthday :D)
Today's post is about the International Street Food fair that was hold in my city past weekend
It's a fair where food restaurants/shops from all around the world come in one place with their stands to sell their food, so you get the chance to try food from different countries!
This fair does some kind of "tour" around Italy, so it's held almost every weekend, but every time in a different city
The "ugly" part about this is that the stalls aren't the same from stop to stop, so when I attended the Rome stop there were a LOT of stalls from all around Italy and some foreigner stalls
Here in my city they had only like 10 stalls XD so annoying

but still super interesting since I love food all around the world! My favorite kind of food is asian food (indian, chinese, korean etc you name it lol) and mexican food! Also spanish food :Q_ I love spicy food in particular lol what about you? Maybe do you like italian food?? I obviously love italian food but I've eaten it most of my life so I'm more interested in other stuff XD

But I'm digressing again XD

Anyway the fair started on Friday and I only visited the mexican stall (obvs w) cuz I worked that day and was SO tired x_x also the weather forecast was giving rain
So I ordered and went to eat at home
 

I got the special mix with burrito, taco, tortillas and chips! I wish I had another taco instead of chips since I LOVE tortillas :Q_ SO GOOD! 

On Saturday I was supposed to go to the flea market and in the evening to the fair, but as I said in my last post I blocked my back XD so I decided to waste Saturday resting so at least I could go the day after... Well, I was wrong since on Sunday I got my period and it was even worse XD Also a friend that was supposed to go with me had to work last minute and could't go... so unlucky ç_ç 
And the weather forecast still said it was gonna rain... to go or not to go? XD
In the end after 217036 painkillers I went there alone cuz I didn't want to miss it XD

I got Carbonara from La Pasta del Buttero stall XD I've eaten there also in Rome in a previous International Street Food stop XD So I knew it was good

SO GOOD ;_; and I miss Narya and Rome so much ;_; I'm so sad she has to work this summer so we can't see each other until Lucca Comics ;_; NARYA I MISS YOU BBY TAT
The pasta was super tasty at least ;_;

I did another stroll around the fair and I tried to buy alcohol at one stall specialized in craft beers and cocktails... but once I got there they told me they broke their machine so they only had bottled beers ;_; (I can't drink beer, I can only drink cocktails) WTF SO UNLUCKY ;_;

Then I saw some thunderbolts in the background... WTF XD was it a sign? XD I couldn't get alcohol, now it looked like it was about to rain... was it telling me to leave? XD
Since my back still hurted I was like "no thank you" so I got some last stuff and went home... and in the end it didn't rain wtf!! So annoying ._.

Well, at least my co*de that day was cute

How cute are those pants?? So happy I thrifted them! They're a bit small but I want to lose a bit more of weight so it's okay :D They're also REALLY low rise w I love them

Oh another thing, I've bought more stuff lol I've sold some of my old stuff on Vinted and used my credit to buy more... so typical XD

First is those 2 tops that already arrived! They look like d.i.a tops, don't you think??? 

Especially the black one!! 

The brand is "Two Sisters", I never heard of them but I'll do some research and make a post if it's interesting w

INGNI dress! I already own it in white and it's my fav summer dress so I got it in pink too XD also it was super cheap, just 7€, I couldn't leave it there XD

Another Chupa Chups tshirt cuz CO&LU made a collection with Chupa Chups logo so I'm convinced the official Chupa Chups tshirts are amekaji, period XD 

HELLO KITTY BAG IN MY FAV PRINT WWWW SO COLORFUL. Just looking at it makes me so happy :D

I've also got other 2 tshirts but they got ruined after one wash... sigh
I'll try to fix or re-buy them ;_;

Ok that's all for today, I'm gonna go back doing my nails cuz it's the only thing I manage to do while I'm sick w

I'm customizing my old goshikku set to make it more tsuyome

And I'm cleaning the old barbie set to make a new one, in white this time :D
